Minister’s Message

From Rev. Carmen Zappi — June 15 —

Beloved Unity Family,

We are grateful for the ability to provide virtual church during this time of being apart. But it really isn’t quite the same as being in church to sing, celebrate and hug each other, is it? We miss being with one another and many of you have asked when we will reopen for in-person services and other activities. I wish I could tell you, but there is no definite date at this time.

As you may be, your trustees and I are eager to reopen our doors, but only as it is determined to be wise. We are praying for guidance as we create a thoughtful plan with ongoing input from Unity Worldwide and Southeast Unity Ministries consultants, church leaders from around the southeast region, governmental guidelines and the CDC. We are participating in weekly Zoom meetings to discuss possibilities for a safe reopening, when it is time.

We will keep you informed as new decisions are made. In the meantime, know that your ministers, trustees, chaplains and staff are praying for your highest good and for the best outcomes to the pandemic challenges.

This is how things look for now:

Sunday Services

We will continue streaming our Sunday services each week. You can view them on our Facebook Page Sunday morning at 11 or on our website anytime. You can also listen to the podcasts of past services on the website.

Monday Meditation, Wednesday Prayer Group, Thursday Quest Class

We will continue to provide meditation, prayer and class every week via  Zoom. Please subscribe for details.

Phone Calls, Emails, Notes, Letters, Facebook Posts

We will continue to stay in touch with you in as many ways as possible. We invite you to be in touch with us also. Let us know how you are. If you have had an inspirational experience through this unusual time, please send it to us with permission to share it. This is a time when your story might be just the boost someone else needs.

Prayer

We will continue to pray with you daily. Your ministers, trustees, chaplains and staff are praying for your highest good and for the best outcomes to the pandemic challenges. Please let us know if you have specific prayer requests.

Thank You for Your Support!

Thank you for your ongoing support of our ministry. Your giving is sustaining our ministry through this challenging time and ensuring that it continues to be strong and vital. We are blessed by any amount you can give!

While we don’t know when we will be able to be with each other in person again, or what it will look like when we do, be assured that we will continue to be here for you in every possible way, no matter what the circumstances.

I am envisioning you as peaceful, whole, joyful, prosperous, and filled with faith that God is working the Divine Plan, right now.
Loving you,
Rev. Carmen
